I’ve made my decision… Sit tight.

As an Amazon Kindle owner I know that there is no way that Amazon will allow the Barnes and Noble nook to take over the eBook market. The few advantages the nook has over the kindle are really just WiFi and lending of eBooks. Other than that there is not much the nook has going for it. Sponsored Links in the iPhone’s Maps App

IMG_0143I came across something that I had never noticed before today. When doing a search for “Nordstrom Rack” in Chicago rather than finding the closest Nordstrom Rack a different non-pin icon appeared pointing out Nordstrom Michigan Ave as a sponsored link. While I am one of the most understanding that advertising drives the online world, I am upset to see these results take over the iPhone Maps app. The last thing I want to see is the addition of advertisements in a product that I purchased without ads.

What are your thoughts? Should Google be able to see ad revenue from the iPhone’s included, undeleteable apps?
